Adonna Clayton

I was born in Hollis, Oklahoma, in 1946, and moved to a farm east of Lovington, New Mexico, in 1950. I lived there
until I graduated from Lovington High School in 1964.

I got married in 1964 and moved to town. Both my sons were born in Lovington, Andy in 1967 and Eric in 1971.
Andy made me the proud Grandmother of twin grandsons in 1991.

I was the Office Manager for Thomason Construction Co. from 1977-1987. While at TOMCO, I was one of the first
women in New Mexico to receive a New Mexico contractor's license.

In August, 1987, I became a "compress hand" at Lov-Cot in Lovington. I moved to the Lubbock office in 1990.
After living in Lovington for forty years, the move to Lubbock was traumatic, but I now proudly call Lubbock home.

I enjoy swimming, entertaining friends and family with summer pool parties, and curling up with a good book in
winter. I am an avid fan of the grandsons' little league baseball team.

I am a member of the Methodist Church.
